Overview

These terms apply to bookings made with TaraLens Media (Tara Lenehan) for photography and videography services, including fall mini sessions, live music and event coverage, and other shoots booked through this site or by direct arrangement. Booking a session means you agree to these terms.

Bookings & retainers

A session is confirmed once a deposit or retainer is paid (where one is required) or payment is completed at booking. For mini sessions and similar fixed-price offers, the listed fee secures your date and time. For custom quotes (brand, event, agency and retreat work), a retainer confirms the booking; the balance is due as stated at the time of quoting.

Cancellations & rescheduling

Life happens — reach out as soon as you know you need to change plans. Reasonable requests to reschedule are accommodated when made with notice, subject to availability. Deposits and retainers are generally non-refundable but may be credited toward a rescheduled date at TaraLens Media’s discretion. For outdoor sessions, a weather-related cancellation does not forfeit your payment; it carries over to a rescheduled date rather than being refunded.

Image usage & licensing

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, clients receive a personal-use license to the delivered images (printing, sharing, social media with credit appreciated). Commercial, editorial, advertising, or resale use requires a separate licensing agreement. TaraLens Media retains copyright and may use images for portfolio, marketing, and promotional purposes unless a client requests otherwise in writing.

Liability

TaraLens Media carries standard professional equipment and takes reasonable care on every shoot, but is not liable for circumstances outside its control (venue restrictions, weather, equipment failure, or acts of third parties) that limit the images delivered. Total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the session in question.
